There are two plotlines in this movie – one in the present and one in the past. The protagonist – a scientist named Nick – awakes at the lab and finds out that he was asleep for more than 50 years but hasn’t aged a day. Some memory flashes help Nick to get to a settlement, lost in the woods, where he headed to during his expedition in the 60s. Nick discovers that many years ago an alien starship crashed near the settlement. Inside the ship, there were some alien bodies that appeared to be in a deep cryostasis. The locals decide that these aliens were the gods themselves. Nick finds out that the ship causes all the local anomalies, which can gradually spread throughout the whole planet, and he decides to prevent this massive threat.
