The device GEMOS-PF is a portable multifunctional system of adaptive class. The apparatus uses a disposable pulse pump with petal microvalves that is atraumatic for blood cells and works like a "peripheral heart" in conjunction with an artificial vascular system of a single application. The device contains no mechanical valves or contractions, no roller, finger, syringe pumps and bulky centrifuges. The device temporarily replaces certain detoxification functions of the liver and kidneys. Main purpose: - separation of blood by filtration method into plasma and uniform elements. Collection, removal and replacement of plasma. - removal from the blood by sorption and filtration methods of toxic and pathogenic products of exogenous and endogenous origin.
