It is a portable adaptive class system. The apparatus uses a disposable pulse pump with petal microvalves that is atraumatic for blood cells and works like a "peripheral heart". The device contains no mechanical valves or contractions, no roller, finger, syringe pumps and bulky centrifuges. Its purpose is the removal of endogenous and exogenous toxic substances from the blood by the sorption method.
