Anti-adhesive gels based on carboxymethylcellulose, for a long time of use in surgical practice showed excellent anti-meshing properties, however, most of the gels based on CMC dissolve too quickly, before the adhesive process is completed. Therefore, we have developed a special formula with the addition of polyethylene glycol. Such a system has a sufficiently long time of bioresorption, and, thus, is more effective in the prevention of adhesions.
