This prosthesis due to the inclusion of silver in the structure of its walls, provides long-term prevention of infection, as well as significantly reduces the adhesion of microorganisms, which in turn contributes to hypoallergenic and natural healing. Silver suppresses the DNA response, protein biosynthesis and membrane potential of the microorganism, providing effective protection against a whole spectrum of microorganisms, incl. from methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
