In-line mixing equipment
Static mixers are designed for mixing dissimilar substances in liquid-liquid, liquid-gas, liquid-solid particles in order to homogenizing them. The device does not contain moving parts and does not require additional energy supply, because the working process is implemented by converting the mechanical energy of the flow. The mixer is installed in a pipeline or in the line supplying inhomogeneous substance, homogenization of which is required. The homogenization process takes place during the passage of the substance through the device. The basis of the design is a mixing unit located inside the outer sealed housing (pipe). The mixing unit is the main functional element of the mixer and consists of a number of mixing plates of special shape, having a special spatial arrangement.
