The Jade Automotive is a hardware and software platform for the development of automotive systems in motor vehicles. It was based on the Fujitsu Jade MB86R01 processor and OS Embedded Linux. The platform significantly cuts the development time for complex onboard vehicle equipment for display, monitoring, and diagnostics. The Jade is targeted at manufacturers of agricultural machinery, public transportation, cranes and loaders, heavy vehicles, vehicle diagnostic tools. The Jade Automotive Platforms contains the basic elements of the future system: • Electronic BGA components for processor and memory; • High-speed data bus; • An operating system; • Development tools and examples of GUI applications.
