Electronic voltage transformers with capacitive divider (EVTCD) are an alternative to the conventional capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) for high-precision voltage measurement and power quality control, from 72.5 kV to several hundreds of kV on HV overhead power lines. This innovative capacitor divider, developed in collaboration with selected customers, provides digital output according to the IEC 61850 standard for your metering and protection infrastructure, when combined with our electronic processing unit (EPU). The EVTCD excels with a very high stability over a large temperature range, and optimal performances over an increased frequency bandwidth compared to conventional measurement methods.
