A dense multipurpose nutrient medium for isolating the majority of clinically significant gram-positive microorganisms (staphylococci and streptococci) from the studied material, their cultivation and hemolytic activity. The medium is recommended for use in bacteriological examination of urine. Used in clinical microbiology.
