Closed-type milk coolers are fully hermetical, heat insulated and automated systems. They are equipped with a mixer connected to a reducing motor to ensure nominal speed of mixer rotation which makes 23 rev/min, and nozzles for spraying water and special chemical solutions onto the cooler walls and for their follow-on unattended washing. Milk mixing helps cool it uniformly and precludes frost on the reservoir walls.
