SPIDER is designed to protect vast territories and water spaces. Unprotected territories, territories with fences but large spaces inside, infrastructure facilities, gas and oil pipelines, state borders, ports and airports-all these are objects with a complex task of controlling and protecting their territory. The SPIDER constantly scans the territory with a radius of up to 1.5 km for a person and up to 2.3 km for a car. When any movement is detected, an accurate mark of the detected target with its coordinates appears on the object map, as well as its image shown through a video camera and through a thermal imager.
