The Intellectual Electricity Price Forecasting System (IPFS) is designed for use in the wholesale market for electricity and power for the day ahead market (DAM) and for forecasting the generation (energy consumption). IPFS allows to form short-term and medium-term forecasts taking into account a lot of input parameters and changing external factors. The basis of the system is artificial intelligence, built on algorithms for machine learning and analysis of large data. System functions: • formation of the forecast of the equilibrium price for the DAM; • identify of the forecast of the generation (energy consumption); • identify the factors that have the greatest impact on the outcome of the forecast. The IPFS is of interest to a wide range of electric power industry subjects, including producers of electric, thermal energy and capacity, organizations that purchase and sell electricity and capacity, power consumers, retail companies and consumers.
