Scientific and Production Association "Microgen" was formed in May 2003 as a result of the merger of state-owned enterprises producing medical immunobiological preparations and other drugs. In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the association was created "in order to meet the country's needs for preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic immunobiological preparations."
