JSC LAFARGE CEMENT

Lafarge Group (since July 15, 2015 it is included in the LafargeHolcim Group) has been operating in Russia since 1996. At present, the company employs 1500 people. The company owns two cement plants located in Voskresensk (Moscow region) and in Ferzikovo (Kaluga region). Lafarge Russia also has a non-metallic materials and concrete line of prodution. The company operates three quarries for extraction of nonmetallic materials, producing high-strength crushed stone from gabbro-diabase, granite (Republic of Karelia) and limestone (Tula region). The company’s products are used in the production of concrete mixtures, reinforced concrete, asphalt, in the construction of high-speed roads and is also certified to be used as a ballast layer of railway tracks.
