JSC " MKB " ISKRA"

JSC "Machine-Building Design Bureau "Iskra" named after Ivan Ivanovich Kartukov " is one of the leaders among Russian manufacturers of solid-fuel rocket engines. The company was founded in 1946 as the State Union Plant on the basis of the experimental design bureau, which was engaged in the development of aviation weapons. The experimental design bureau, established in 1937, was headed by Chief Designer I. I. Kartukov, and by the time the company was formed, it already had experience in creating weapons in difficult pre-war and military conditions.
