En las PC se implementan principios avanzados de la arquitectura de computadora, usan sistemas operativos y compiladores optimizados de su propio diseño. Se proporciona compatibilidad binaria con la plataforma x86, seguridad en la programación y se desarrollan significativamente las capacidades de los sistemas operativos estándar. Las herramientas computacionales desarrolladas se utilizan con efectividad para garantizar la sustitución de importaciones, así como la seguridad tecnológica y de la información.
