The company "PALMA" (Production of ALginate MAterials) was established in 1992 on the basis of the Dressing Laboratory of the State Research Institute of Medical Polymers. All products of the "PALMA Group of Companies" are produced based on their own developments. Many of the company's products do not have Russian analogs. The company has developed and patented the self-adhesive ABUTSEL® material, serving as basis of ABOUEL® and BINACEL® colostomy bags, ABUTSEL® paste and UROTSEL® urine bag, and the TRIOEL® self-adhesive material, which is the basis of the TRIOTSEL® colostomy and urine bags. Another area of the company's production is the production of adhesive materials. They are used to produce sticky operating films EMACRYL and SILACRIL®, a series of sticky bandages BINTLEY®, sticky LIPAL® dressings for closing post-operative sutures. In addition, the company produces wound healing agents STATIN and ALGIPOR-M. The company's specialists are constantly working on the creation of new products and the improvement of those already produced. To date, the company has more than 2500 customers across the country. Among them - the largest Russian distributors, pharmaceuticals, hospitals, medical technicians, medical centers, pharmacies and pharmacy chains.
